Gouty arthritis is a prominent acute attack manifested by hyperpurine and hyperuricemia deposited on the cartilage of the joints, the synovium of the joints, and around the joints, resulting in the inflammation of the synovial membrane of the joints. Uric acid is the final product of purine metabolism. Gout is caused by long-term impaired purine metabolism and increased blood uric acid. If the patient has no clinical symptoms and the blood uric acid concentration is higher than the normal value, it is medically called "hyperuricemia". If the concentration of uric acid in the blood reaches the saturation solubility, these substances will eventually form crystals and accumulate in the soft tissues. Eventually cause inflammation in the body. Gout can be caused by diet, weather changes, such as sudden changes in temperature and air pressure, and trauma. It is usually divided into 3 stages: 1. Acute arthritis stage: It usually occurs suddenly at night, and the affected joints are severely painful. The first joint often involves the first metatarsophalangeal joint, followed by the ankle and knee. Joint swelling, heat and tenderness, general weakness, fever, headache, etc. It can last for 3 to 11 days. Drinking, binge eating, overwork, catching cold, surgical stimulation, and mental stress can all be triggers for seizures. 2. Intermittent period: It lasts for several months or years, with repeated episodes of the disease, the interval becomes shorter, the disease period is prolonged, the diseased joints increase, and it gradually turns into chronic arthritis. 3. Chronic arthritis period: The period from acute onset to chronic arthritis period is about 11 years on average, and the joints appear stiff and deformed, and movement is restricted. About 30% of patients can see tophi and kidney complications, as well as ureteral stones. In the late stage, there are hypertension, renal and cerebral arteriosclerosis, and myocardial infarction. A small number of patients died of renal failure and cardiovascular accidents.

The preparation method of the rat gouty arthritis model is:

The experimental rat was fixed on its back, and the right hind limb was disinfected with iodophor. The syringe was inserted into the ankle joint cavity from the outside of the right ankle joint of the right hind foot at a 45-degree angle to the tibia. Each mouse was injected with 0.2 ml of MSU crystal suspension (25 mg). /ml), the control group was injected with 0.2 mL of normal saline.
