【Animal Experiment】-Comparison of the pressure that can withstand the maxillary and frontal sinus mucosa of goat

Purpose: To investigate the difference in the allowable pressure of the mucosa of the nasal sinuses of goats, analyze the reasons for this difference, and provide theoretical basis and guidance for mucosal problems related to the ridge of the maxillary sinus.

Method: Cut the required mucosa size from various parts of the sinus mucosa (upper maxillary sinus, lower mandibular sinus, frontal sinus mucosa), and use push-pull gauges and homemade clamps and pressure tools to reduce pressure resistance. The test determined the relationship between the parameters, and P\u003c0.05 was considered statistically significant.

Results: The maxillary sinus mucosa of goats can withstand a pressure of 260.08±80.12 Kpa, the sinus floor mucosa is 306.90±94.37 Kpa, and the frontal sinus mucosa is 121.72±31.72 Kpa. There are statistically significant differences in the average mucosal pressure between the upper and frontal sinuses of the maxillary sinus, between the lower part of the maxillary sinus and the frontal sinus, and between the upper and lower parts of the sinus mucosa (P\u003c0.05). ). The mucosa of the maxillary sinus bears higher pressure than the frontal sinus, the mucosa of the maxillary sinus bears higher pressure than the frontal sinus, and the mucosa of the maxillary sinus bears more force than the mucosa above the sinus. Can withstand pressure.

Conclusion: The mucosal pressure of the anterior sinus, the upper part of the maxillary sinus and the lower part of the maxillary sinus are different and gradually increase.
