Study on the Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Relaxation Cream Combined with Exercise Rehabilitation on the ROM and Inflammatory Response of Joint Fibrosis in Rats with Joint Contracture

Objective: To explore the effect of traditional Chinese medicine relaxation cream combined with treadmill exercise rehabilitation intervention on ROM, IL-6, IL-17, and TGF in joint fibrosis of rats with joint contracture- β 1. The impact of expression.

Method: Forty four Wistar rats were randomly selected as the normal control group (NC group), with the remaining 36 rats establishing a joint contracture model. 32 successfully modeled rats were divided into a model control group (MC group), a traditional Chinese medicine relaxation cream intervention group (SC group), a treadmill exercise rehabilitation intervention group (RE group), and a traditional Chinese medicine relaxation cream+treadmill exercise rehabilitation intervention group (SR group), with 8 rats in each group. The MC group did not undergo any intervention; SC group received medication application and massage; RE group received treadmill training; The SR group received treadmill training followed by medication application and massage, with intervention once a day for 6 days per week. Measure the ROM of all rats before and 42 days after intervention; After 42 days of intervention, ELISA was used to detect the levels of IL-6, IL-17, and TGF in rats- β 1 Content.

Before the intervention, the ROM of the model group rats was significantly reduced compared to the NC group (P<0.05) 05); After 42 days of intervention, compared with the MC group's ROM, the SR group's ROM and the SC group's ROM significantly increased, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05) 05). After intervention, compared with the MC group, the levels of IL-6 and IL-17 in the SC group, RE group, and SR group were significantly reduced, with the SR group significantly lower than those in the SC group and RE group (P<0.05) 05); SR group TGF- β The content of 1 was significantly reduced compared to the MC group, SC group, and RE group (P<0.05) 05).

Conclusion: The combination of traditional Chinese medicine relaxation cream and treadmill exercise rehabilitation intervention can synergistically improve joint mobility, reduce the release of inflammatory factors, and reduce TGF related to fibrosis in rats with joint contracture- β 1 secretion, thereby improving the degree of joint fibrosis in rats with joint contracture.
