【 Modeling mechanism 】 Atrial fibrillation often occurs after thoracotomy, and pericarditis is considered an important cause of atrial fibrillation.
【 Modeling Method 】 A hybrid dog, regardless of gender, was selected. After anesthesia, the dog was thoracotomy, the open heart was cut, and the heart was exposed. Three pairs of stainless steel metal wire electrodes were sutured at the predetermined right atrial site. A large amount of sterile talc powder was sprinkled on the surface of the atrium, and a thin layer of gauze was wrapped around it. Then, the pericardium and chest wall were sutured, and penicillin was administered to resist infection. During the postoperative healing process, atrial fibrillation can be induced by administering preoperative stimulation or rapidly increasing atrial stimulation for 10 to 30 seconds.
【 Model characteristics 】 Within 4 days after surgery, atrial fibrillation is easily induced. The induction rate of atrial fibrillation decreased to 1/5 weak 7 days after surgery.
Model evaluation and application: This model is simple to produce, time-consuming, and has a high induction rate, and is commonly used in the study of therapeutic drugs.
