[Animal Modeling Drug Efficacy Evaluation ]- Heymann Nephritis Model in Rats

  1. Modeling material animals: rats, weighing 150-200g; Drug: Complete Freund's adjuvant, physiological saline.

  2. Modeling method: Rats were euthanized regardless of gender, and their kidneys were removed and a catheter was inserted. After repeated flushing with physiological saline, 5g of renal cortex was homogenized and mixed with complete Freund's adjuvant to make 10ml. 20ml of physiological saline was added to prepare a suspension. Inject 2ml of the same substance into the abdominal cavity of rats every 2 weeks, approximately 3-6 times, until proteinuria appears.

  3. The principle of modeling is to induce animal models of glomerulonephritis using the same immune complex method.

  4. Changes after modeling: If proteinuria appears after modeling, it indicates successful modeling.
