　　On December 27, 2024, the annual academic exchange meeting of the Key Project Group of "Frontier Theory, Method and Application of Medical Imaging Information Processing" of the Information Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China was held in Xiamen. Vice President Fang Ying of Xiamen University and relevant officials from the Information Science Department of the Natural Science Foundation of China attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Chen Zhong, Dean of the School of Electronic Science and Technology at Xiamen University, presided over the opening ceremony.

　　The relevant person in charge of the Information Science Department stated that this key project group aims to carry out research on key basic issues in the field of medical imaging information processing, break through relevant clinical application bottlenecks, and promote China's independent innovation capabilities in this field. I hope that the attending experts and project team can have sufficient communication and stimulate the spark of innovation; Thoroughly summarize and ensure that the project progresses efficiently towards the established goals; Dig deep into the needs, identify the real problems, conduct practical research, and produce results that can truly solve medical needs. This not only contributes to the achievement of indicators, but also effectively solves the problems on the front line of medical care.

　　Six project leaders reported on the progress of the 2024 project and the next research plan. The attending experts fully questioned the content of the report and put forward targeted suggestions, providing inspiration and reference for the smooth progress of the project.
