　　On December 26, 2024, the launch of the major project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China "Cross scale Mechanical Regulation of Virus Infection and Immune Response" and the 2024 academic exchange meeting were held in Beijing. The meeting was hosted by the Institute of Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and chaired by academician Xia Ningshao, a member of the academic leading group.

　　The project leader, Researcher Long Mian, and each project leader reported on the main research content, phased research progress, and future work plans. The academic leadership group and specially invited experts believe that the project is organized in an orderly manner and supported by solid conditions. They hope that each research group can work closely together to achieve breakthrough results as soon as possible.

　　Members of the project academic leadership group, project leaders and research backbones, invited experts in related fields, and relevant staff from the Interdisciplinary Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China attended the meeting.
