On August 20, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of
Engineering announced that a total of 639 experts and scholars from the Chinese
Academy of Sciences were included in the list of valid candidates (50 valid
candidates were recommended in special fields). A total of 617 experts and
scholars from the Chinese Academy of Engineering have entered the list of valid
candidates (43 valid candidates are also available in special channels).
According to statistics, the university with the largest number of
candidates was Tsinghua University, with a total of 58, of which 40 valid
candidates were selected for academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,
and 18 valid candidates were selected for academicians of the Chinese Academy of
Engineering; followed by Peking University, with 55 selected for academicians of
the Chinese Academy of Sciences, with a total of 45 valid candidates were
selected for academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and 10 valid
candidates were selected for academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering;
third, a total of 39 selected for academicians of Zhejiang University.

of academicians in 2025 by the "School of Life Sciences and Medicine" of the
Chinese Academy of Sciences (125 people) and the "School of Medicine and Health"
of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (91 people):
