　　Based on the online evaluation of the National Science and Technology Awards over the years, it can be basically determined:

　　All special projects will be accepted for review and defense: This year, 221 special projects (including 77 invention awards and 144 progress awards) were accepted, and about 60 initial evaluation quotas were competed for, and the preliminary evaluation pass rate of the accepted projects was 27.1%.

　　About 500 general projects were awarded for the meeting and defense: 1,304 general projects were accepted this year, with an online evaluation pass rate of about 38.3%; half of them were eliminated during the meeting and there were about 250 initial evaluation quotas, and the initial evaluation pass rate of accepted projects was 19.2%, which was lower than that of special projects.
