　　"Fellow of the Chinese Laboratory Animal Society" is the highest academic honor awarded to members by the society and is a lifelong honor. It aims to encourage outstanding scientific and technological workers in experimental animals and related interdisciplinary fields to make outstanding achievements and innovative contributions that attract domestic and foreign attention in scientific research and technology development, and to serve the strategy of strengthening the country through science and technology.

　　On October 23, 2025, at the closing ceremony of the 10th Asian Federation of Laboratory Animal Societies and the 18th China Annual Conference on Laboratory Animal Science and Technology held in Hangzhou, the Chinese Society of Laboratory Animal Science successfully held the first batch of fellowship awarding ceremonies.

　　The selection of fellows strictly follows the "Measures for the Management of Fellows of the Chinese Society of Laboratory Animal Science". After nomination and recommendation, formal review, expert review and publicity, and approval by the Standing Council, 7 people were finally selected as fellows this year. At the same time, according to regulations, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and members of the Academic Advisory Committee of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences can directly become members of the society with their consent. So far, there are 12 scientists who are members of the Chinese Society of Laboratory Animal Science this year.
