1. Animal model material: guinea pigs, weighing 250-350g; Medications: pentobarbital, propranolol.
2. Method of modeling: After anesthesia with pentobarbital at a dose of 30mg/kg, the animal was subjected to thoracotomy and left ventricular catheterization. LV dp/dt max was used as an indicator of cardiac contractility. Propranolol was injected intravenously at a dose of 5mg/kg, which was completed within 1 minute, followed by a constant rate intravenous injection of 0.2mg/min (0.1-0.2ml) to maintain a stable state of heart failure.
