　　On May 26, 2025, the Party Group of the National Natural Science Foundation of the Communist Party of China held a theoretical learning center group study meeting and in-depth implementation of the spirit of the Central Eight point Regulation study and education class. The class focused on in-depth study and implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on strengthening the Party's work style construction, and earnestly studied and understood the spirit of the Central Eight point Regulation and its implementation rules, promoting continuous deepening and implementation of learning and education. Party Secretary and Director Dou Xiankang presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. Members of the Party Committee and leadership team, including Wang Xiqin, Lu Jianhua, Zhang Xuemin, Jiang Song, Wu Lizhu, and Han Yu, successively led the study of relevant content. The main responsible comrades of each department and directly affiliated unit, as well as relevant comrades from the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Group of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission stationed in the Ministry of Science and Technology, attended the meeting as observers.

We must grasp and promote the construction of work style from a political perspective of firmly supporting the "two consolidations" and resolutely upholding the "two safeguards". We must further focus on understanding, comprehending, and implementing the work style, highlight problem orientation, adhere to strict standards, and comprehensively promote learning inspection and reform. We must strictly and practically implement various tasks of learning and education.

The entire committee should further deepen their ideological understanding, maintain strategic determination, and effectively integrate learning and education with project evaluation work in all aspects. We must always tighten the string of discipline, adhere to a strict tone, strict measures, and strict atmosphere, solidly promote the comprehensive deepening reform of the Science Fund, strengthen the attributes of Science Fund projects, resolutely eliminate the tendency of talent projects to be titled and labeled, continue to consolidate the achievements of the special rectification of experts being "greeted", strictly implement the "Regulations on Party and Government Organs Practicing Frugality and Opposing Waste", and deeply promote the rectification of formalism to reduce the burden on grassroots personnel, streamline culture and meetings, and implement the requirements of "tight living" in all aspects of work.
